   The outcome an organisation produces is the result of a system of work perfectly designed to produce it.

   Software gets built by people, for people, inside that system. So who decides, who waits, and how long it takes to find out you were wrong set the ceiling on everything you ship.

   If building software feels like a grind, if there’s been another reorg, if the calendar is full and the customer still hasn’t noticed anything change, those aren’t people problems. They’re what it looks like when a company optimises its parts and loses the whole.

   Every product that changed how people live came out of a system that let people learn faster than the problem changed. We get to build those systems on purpose, and doing that is some of the most important work left in software.
